Collection: Aaron Wexler

Aaron’s work draws from both shapes in nature and industrial forms as they relate to abstraction in painting. He investigates the curious, rich area of visual potential in which these shapes exist. Using paint and collage, the image becomes a cut and paste blueprint from which to build surface layers on the picture plane. Aaron received his BFA degree in painting from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia and his MFA degree in painting from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His work has been shown nationally and internationally in galleries and museums. Aaron lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
